SAGED NUTRITION
WHO AM I?

I am a nutritionist experienced in caring for chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and diabetic patients.  In addition, I provide nutritional care for patients with chronic conditions as well as weight loss/management.  I provide care for individuals of all ages.  At Saged Nutrition, I want individuals to leave capable of making wiser decisions about their nutritional health!

Saged Nutrition is a specialty nutrition practice dedicated to improving cardiometabolic health, renal, and endocrine outcomes across populations. We work with patients living with one or more chronic conditions to help them navigate day-to-day health management with evidence-based nutrition plans and counseling.

We understand that the clinical, behavioral, social, and emotional needs of patients must be addressed proactively to support a range of conditions (diabetes, kidney disease, obesity /weight management, cardiovascular disease, and more).

At Saged Nutrition clients can expect a comprehensive nutrition evaluation tailored to their individual needs.  The goal is to meet each client where they are on their health journey to optimize their success and wellness.

What People Are Saying

Saged Nutrition is simply amazing & highly recommended. – Sherry

It identifies nutritional risks and problems, using this info as the first step in the Nutrition Care Process to guide personalized interventions, and can involve checklists, diet diaries, and physical checks for signs like muscle wasting or skin issues.
Initial Nutrition Assessments
Follow-up nutrition visits are crucial for progress, typically starting within two weeks of the initial assessment and occurring weekly, biweekly, or monthly, depending on your needs, goals (like weight loss, managing conditions), and the dietitian's recommendations, focusing on reviewing habits, troubleshooting barriers, reinforcing education, and setting new action steps for sustainable change, with frequency decreasing as you become more self-sufficient.

Group Classes
Nutrition services offer both in-person appointments at clinics/offices and flexible telehealth (virtual) options via video/phone for personalized diet counseling, with telehealth providing convenience, time savings, and broader access, often using secure platforms for comprehensive care like meal planning, condition management (diabetes, GI issues), and goal setting, supported by digital tools and apps. Both models involve assessments, personalized plans, and ongoing support, but telehealth removes travel and offers remote monitoring.
